Mission/Purpose

Los Alamos Teen Center provides a safe place for teenagers attending Los Alamos High School to congregate, study, play video games, and have fun. Admission to the teen center if free to Los Alamos Teenagers and individuals attending the Los Alamos School District.
Los Alamos Teen Center operations are funded by Los Alamos County, and administered by The Family YMCA. Numerous project partners and individuals donate time and money to enable us to offer enriching, engaging and inspiring activities and programs for teens.
We welcome your ideas and requests for new programning, and encourage you to come by and see what programs we are currently offering.

 

Membership/Usage

Los Alamos Teen Center is free for all teenagers attending Los Alamos High School or being home schooled in Los Alamos County. Daily attendance averages between 40 to 70 teenagers.
